The structure of this giant wheel was designed by David Marks and Julia Barfield, however, this construction idea was submitted by them as a part of a competition in order to design a new landmark for London. Opening Timings:

London Eye is closed during maintenance period and on Christmas Day. The opening timings are as follows:

May and June: Daily from 10.00am - 9.00pm

July and August: Daily from 10.00am - 9.30pm

September: Daily from 10.00am - 9.00pm

October to April: Daily from 10.00am - 8.00pm
