A work of art, and the much awaited, A Christmas Carol by Disney comes to Leicester Square, this November, offering film fans an opportunity to see A-list stars of Hollywood at with the world premiere of the movie.
As a matter of fact, for the very first time, the world premiere of a Christmas Carol will be open to the general public. This is going to be a golden opportunity for fans across the city to watch the World Premiere of the much awaited movie in the capital on 3rd November, Tuesday, this year. Bunch of stars are expected to walk down the red carpet and tickets are already on sale in support of Great Ormond Street Hospital. Stars that are expected to add shimmer to the event include Jim Carrey, Bob Hoskins, Colin Firth, Robin Wright Penn and the director of the film, Robert Zemeckis. You will also get an opportunity to see the film before anyone else since the official release has been planned to take place three days after the premiere.
Christmas Lights in London
This one mega event also clashes with the lighting of Christmas lights in Regent Street and Oxford Street which will also have A Christmas Carol theme for 2009. For the first time in history, two streets will be switched on simultaneously, with the same theme.

This grand event offers to you the first chance to watch the film that features the traditional story with a modern update with due thanks to 3D. The character of Ebenezer Scrooge has been played very well by Jim Carrey along with the ghost of Christmas ‘past’, Christmas ‘present’ and Christmas ‘yet to come’ played by renowned artists like Bob Hoskins, Robin Wright Penn, Colin Firth and Gary Oldman. This great movie has been directed using the latest technology of motion capture 3D, making all stuff on screen, seem realistic.
Tickets to Disney’s A Christmas Carol premiere cost from £25.00 - £50.00 per ticket and are available for Empire Leicester Square, Odeon Leicester Square and Odeon West End cinemas.
